Toshiba also includes some custom software utilities considering the system. Our biggest complaint is which the keyboard is not backlit. We've seen that feature on other Toshiba laptops in this particular price range, and it is best to an appreciated extra. The most significant shortfall of the R700 is it's saddled with basic Intel designed graphics. The 13-inch MacBook, one example is, has a lower-end but very impressive GPU because of Nvidia, which is great for mainstream gaming. The enclosed graphics and Core i3 CPU are fine for going HD video, but not for anything beyond the most basic games.
